Blue Cheese

Blue cheese and other mold-ripened cheeses can be dangerous to dogs and cats. Some molds produce roquefortine C and other mycotoxins that can cause vomiting, diarrhea, tremors, fever, and seizures.

Even small amounts of blue cheese warrant caution. If your pet eats blue cheese, gorgonzola, Roquefort, or any visibly moldy cheese, contact a veterinarian or poison control center right away.
