Chocolate
Chocolate contains theobromine and caffeine, both of which are toxic to dogs and cats. Dark chocolate, baking chocolate, and cocoa powder contain the highest levels and are the most dangerous.
Even small amounts of milk chocolate can cause vomiting and diarrhea, while larger amounts can lead to seizures and heart problems. Contact a veterinarian immediately if your pet eats chocolate.
