Sugar-Free Gum
Sugar-free gum almost always contains xylitol, which is highly toxic to dogs and can be dangerous to cats. Ingestion can cause a rapid drop in blood sugar and liver damage.
Emergency treatment is required even if the amount seems small. Keep sugar-free gum and mints away from pets.
