Bittersweet Nightshade
Bittersweet nightshade is a woody vine with purple flowers and bright red berries. It is common along fences, roadsides, and neglected yards.
While less toxic than deadly nightshade, the berries and leaves can still make pets ill. Removing vines from pet-accessible areas reduces the risk of accidental ingestion.
