Jade Plant

Jade plants are compact succulents with thick, fleshy leaves that are easy to care for and propagate. They are mildly toxic to pets, although the exact toxin is not well identified. Dogs seem more commonly affected than cats.

Ingestion may lead to vomiting, depression, and unsteady walking. Most cases resolve with supportive care. Because jade leaves are plump and appealing, keep these succulents on shelves or in rooms pets cannot access.
