Pokeberry
Pokeberry, or pokeweed, is a tall perennial weed with clusters of dark purple berries. It is native to North America and often found in disturbed soils.
The entire plant is toxic, with the highest concentrations in roots and seeds. Pets that eat pokeberry can develop severe gastrointestinal distress and should be treated by a veterinarian.
