Ragwort
Ragwort is a yellow-flowered weed that contains pyrrolizidine alkaloids. These toxins damage the liver over time and can be present even in dried hay.
Dogs and cats that repeatedly graze on ragwort may develop progressive liver disease. Removing the plant from pastures and yards is important for long-term safety.
