Water Hemlock
Water hemlock grows in wet meadows, ditches, and along streams. It contains cicutoxin, a potent neurotoxin that causes violent seizures and respiratory failure.
Even a small amount can be lethal. Dogs roaming near ponds or wet fields should be supervised closely, and any suspected ingestion must be treated as an emergency.
