Alcohol
Alcohol, also called ethanol, is far more toxic to pets than to humans because of their smaller size and metabolism. It is found in beer, wine, cocktails, mouthwash, certain desserts, and even unbaked bread dough. Signs of intoxication can appear within an hour and progress quickly. Any suspected alcohol ingestion in a pet should be treated as an emergency.
Is Alcohol Safe for Dogs?
