Grape Juice
Grapes, raisins, and grape juice can cause acute kidney failure in dogs, although the exact toxic mechanism is still unknown. Some dogs react to a single grape, while others seem less sensitive, but there is no safe dose. Cats can also be affected. Because kidney damage can progress silently at first, any suspected ingestion should be treated as an emergency.
